Art Club

KMS Art Club – Q1 Registration Now Open

We are excited to announce that the Q1 KMS Art Club will run on Thursdays from September 18th - October 30th.

Meeting Time & Location: Students will meet in room B40 (Art Room)
Dismissal Options: Pick-up will take place at 4:30 p.m. Students can walk to the Teen Center, take the late bus, walk home, or get picked up by an adult!

Projects will include drawing, zentangles, crafts, school murals, and more. Space is limited to 25 students. Spots will be filled based on completed permission slips. Permission forms can be picked up with homeroom teachers or from Mrs. Coleman in the Art Room.

Mt. Biking Club

KMS Mountain Biking Club – Registration Now Open

We are excited to announce that the KMS Mountain Biking Club will begin on Monday, September 15th, and will meet every Monday throughout the season.

Meeting Time & Location: Students will meet in the cafeteria at 2:20 p.m. and ride until 4:30 p.m.
Dismissal Options: Pick-up will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the designated locations, or students may take the late bus.
Required Items: Mountain bike, helmet, water bottle, and snack.

Students may ride their bikes to school or have them dropped off in the morning. Bikes will be stored securely at the rack located near the school entrance.

If your student is in need of a bike and/or helmet, please contact Sra. Ferraris at l_ferraris@sau9.org for assistance.

Open Cafe

If your student(s) are looking for something to do after school while they wait for Conway Rec's Teen Center to open, they can now join our Open Cafe. A safe, supervised, phone-free environment where they can hang out with friends and play board/card games and more. Open on Thursdays 2:30-4:45 for right now with the possiblity of more days coming soon. Our first day is this Thursday, September 25th..

KMS Pie Fundraiser

The KMS PTO is thrilled to announce the return of our popular Pie Fundraiser! These delicious pies are perfect for the holidays — simply take them from the freezer, bake, and enjoy.

📅 Order Deadline: Wednesday, October 8 (submit orders to your child’s homeroom teacher)

📦 Pickup: Mid-November at KMS (an exact date will be set as we get closer)

A portion of each sale directly benefits the KMS PTO. Please make checks payable to Kennett Middle School and include “PTO” in the memo line.

KHS Robotics Club

Students at KMS have been invited to join the Robotics Club at Kennett High School. Students will need a note to take their normal bus to KHS and will get off the bus at KHS.
